Mt. Vernon High School Coach
F.G.Warren came to MTV high school in the fall of 1910,
when athletics were in worse possible state.
With one exception the entire basketball and track team were members
of the graduating class the preceeding spring.
From a number of inexperienced boys, he was able to shape a good
basketball and track team the first year.
In 1913 the basketball team was the best ever produced at MTV.
They won 17 out of 21 plays.
Coach Warren was also one of the best referees ever officating.
