Ceaton Bullock was the son of Noah and Settie (Sammons) Bullock. He can trace his ancestry back through his father, Noah, his grandmother, Miranda (Casey) Bullock, his greatgrandfather, Isaac (b. 1770), his great-great grandfather, Randolph Casey (b. about 1742) and died in Smith county Tennessee. Randolph was a sergeant in the 2nd South Carolina Regiment of General Francis' Army of the Civil War. Randolph was also the father of Zadok Casey who was a well known pioneer of Jefferson county history. Ceaton married Nancy Zeta Breeze, daughter of John and Cassie (Cruzen) Breeze, May 4, 1919 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. To this union five children were, born: (1) Virginia Faye, born April 27, 1920, married Onis Avery Flanagan. Their first child, Gary Wayne, married Phylis Grant and their children are Robert Wayne and Jodi Ann. The second child, Nancy Sue, married Jerry Sodders and their children are Kimberly Dawn and Kristy Rae. The third child Michael Eugene married Ramona Douthitt and they have one child, Tara. Their fourth, Judith Ann married Steve Knolhoff. Their child is Angela Michelle. Their fifth child is Tamerla Jo. (2) Leslie Earl, born June 14, 1922, married Betty Flowers. Their first child Leslie Earl, Jr. married Linda Holmes and had one child, Amanda. The second child Rebekah Lee married Kenny Smith. The two children are Jeremy and Kirby. Their third child Stephen Eric married with one child Erica Kami. (3) Evelyn Ruth, born September 12, 1926, married Willis Robbins. Their first child Leslie Cecil married Sue Williams and they have one child Lee Ann. The second child is Mark Ceaton. (4) David Neal born October 23, 1928 and died in infancy. (5) Jo Ann, born April 10, 1938, married Robert Fredrick Deichman. Their four children are Stacy Jo, Kelley Sue, Jodi Lynn, and Chris Fredrick. *NOTE* Some ommisions may have occured to protect living individuals.
