Alexander Moore Jr.; farmer, P.O. Tilford, was born in this county, September 14, 1843, and is a son of Thomas Moore (deceased), a native of Tennessee. Mr. Moore was brought up on the farm, and has always been a farmer.

In January, 1865, he married Nancy Davis, by whom he has seven children - William T., Martha, Annie, Mary, Ford, Freddie and Riley.

Mr. Moore owns 120 acres of land, and is engaged in raising and dealing in stock as well as farming.
