James and Elizabeth Newby came to Jefferson Co. Ill. from Warren Co. Tennessee in the 1830's Elizabeth was born 1806, and was the daughter of Thompson and Mary Bethel Newby.

James was born 1798 in Kentucky.

John Dugger Pigg and Surina moved to Lawrence Co. Tenn. when Ellen Frances was 13 years old. They moved by covered wagon. All children moved to Tennesse except Sarah J., married J.P. Snider, Surenia C. married Woodson Palmer.

John Dugger Pigg came back to Jefferson Co. ILl. after Serina died in Lawrence Co. Tenn. about 1913. He died about 1920/25. His burial in unknown.
