This cemetery has also been known as Immanuel Chapel and possibly Central Church Cemetery. The first church was called the Bald Hill Methodist Episcopal Church, a1so called Immanuel Chapel and was located near the north line of the township.
Some documentation: From the Death Register: John A. Dasher has a marked grave his info from the Jefferson County death register below: From the Death Register: Also from the death records: Florence Laur is listed as being buried at Central Church Cemetery but she is in Bald Hill Cemetery with marker so I have added Central Church Cemetery as another possible name for this cemetery.

Many volunteers have worked very hard to provide the researchers of Jefferson County a listing of Cemeteries and to provide pictures of headstones to help you in your personal research. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE the cemetery listings and pictures that others have worked so hard to provide and add it to any other website as your own. Thank You for understanding and respecting the work of others. |
