Second Baptist Church Groundbreaking 9/27/1960

Mrs Ella Lane was my Great Aunt and that is my father Ed Funkhouser and Rev Carl Whittington helping her push that plow.

The Reverend Carl Whittington and the Reverend Sam McCoy, taken in front of the Old Second Baptist Church building on Conger. They were very much loved by the members of the Church.

Ladies Bible study group picture taken at our house on South 12 th Street in 1960 . The only two I can identify are Mae Mumbower and my mother Alice Funkhouser. Mother is second from left, back row and Mae is second from left, front row. I knew them all but it has been a long time

Second Baptist Church Congregation This was taken in front of the first building. It burned to the ground and they built a new Brick Structure. Years later they moved to the new building at the new location.
