1. DAVID1 BIGHAM, son of MATILDA BIGHAM, was born in Tennessee 1812. DAVID died Mar 6 1873 in
Jefferson Co IL, at 60 years of age.
He married MALINDA WOODS in TN, 1834. MALINDA was born 1812 in TN.
MALINDA was the daughter of VINCENT WOODS and UNKNOWN BIGHAM.
David's date of birth per 1850, 60 & 70 census varied from 1812,
1809, 1813, born in TN, NC, TN. Malinda's date of birth per 1850, 60, & 70
census varied from 1816, 1812, 1815, born in VA, NC, TN.
David believed to be in the household of Matilda Bigham in 1820 White Co TN, &
1830 McMinn Co TN. She could be his Aunt, or Mother. Matilda, Polly, Levicy,
David Bigham and Vincent Woods were listed as a buyers in the estate sale of
Andrew Bigham II. David believed to be his grandson.
Malinda and David were most likely first cousins, which often married each
other during that time period.

James Marion Bigham 79 years old died this morning at the home of
his son-in-law, George Shaw, residing on the Koogler farm, one mile
north and one mile west of this village. He had been sick for the past
three weeks, also suffering from gangrene. He leaves several children
near Ina, Jefferson Co, where the body will be taken tomorrow for burial.
He also has several grandchildren near Bondville. His body was interred
March 27, 1919 in Ina IL.
He married MARY CRISEL Illinois, December 25, 1864. MARY was born 1847.
MARY was the daughter of WILLIAM J CRISEL and EMILY TONEY.
