Nell Adams, 67, of Bonnie died at 10:04 a.m. Saturday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Mt. Vernon, where she had just recently undergone surgery. Mrs. Adams was born October 10, 1898, in Jefferson County, the daughter of James and Emmaline (CLINTON) KIRK. On October 4, 1917, she was married to Troy A. ADAMS, who survives.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock at the Bonnie Church of God, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Loy SHAW officiating. Interment was in Kirk Cemetery near Ina.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, James, Harry and Wesley ADAMS, all of Bonnie; two daughters, Dorothy WAYLAND of Munster, Ind., and Bernice TAYLOR of Lockport; two brothers, Harley KIRK of Villa Grove, and Byford KIRK of St. Louis; three sisters, Mella GUTHRIE of Carlyle, Nina MARSHALL of Marion and Ina LANE, Shawneetown; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and a brother.
