Mrs. Frank MENZER received a letter at noon today from her cousin Miss Edna BINGHAM at Denver, Colo., announcing the death, in that city on the 9th inst., of her grandmother, Mrs. Betsy AFFLACK, at the advanced age of 87.

Deceased removed from this county to Denver fifteen or twenty years ago, and has since made her home there with her daughter, Mrs. Elza BINGHAM.

Mrs. Afflack was an aunt of Mrs. James MAXEY, Aunt Sally MOSS, L.C. JOHNSON and J. R. MOSS and was the last surviving member of a large family.

She will be remembered by a large number of the older residents of this city.
