Patricia Ann Akers, 77, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 9:00 am March 20, 2024.

She was born September 19, 1946 in Salem, Illinois to the late Fred Eugene "F.E." Frazier and Lorene "Jessie" Silvey.

Pat first married Robert Carl Piercy on October 30, 1965 in Mount Vernon and to this union were born two daughters. Pat and Bob later got a divorce.

Pat's favorite things in life included spending time with family, dancing, doing puzzles, and word searches.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Tricia King and husband, Rick of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Brittany (Wingfield) Miles and husband, Chris of Royal Oak, Michigan, Tiffany Pitman and April (Pitman) Szarek and husband, Andrew, all of Mount Vernon; great-grandchildren, Grayson Miles, Audrey Miles, Lilith Szarek, and Scarlett Szarek; and sister, Janice Staples and husband, Virgil.

In addition to her parents and ex-husband, Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Lynam; and infant brother, Rex Frazier.

Pat will be cremated and no services will be held.
