Austin Allen, 13 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Allen, died last night at the family home on Park Avenue.

Austin was one of a family of twelve children, five boys and seven girls, all but one of whom were born in Jefferson county. This is the first death among the children.

The surviving children are Corben, Gillman, Sovana, Alma, Dorran, Roberta, Gale, Lena Fay, Anna, Veneta, Frieda Nell and Delilah.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Park Avenue Baptist Church and burial will follow at Hopewell.
