Mrs. Josephine Sophronia ALLEN who died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Malissa MORGAN, 322 South 13th Street, will be buried Sunday. She was the widow of J. W. ALLEN. Funeral services will be held at the Winfree Chapel, 409 North Tenth Street, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will be had in Oakwood. The funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Roy VAN HORN. Mrs. ALLEN's age at the time of death was 76 years, 1 month and 12 days.

She had made her home for the last 35 years with her daughter, Mrs. Malissa MORGAN. Mrs. ALLEN was a most excellent woman and held in the highest respect and affection by all who knew her. She was a member of Wesley M. E. Church, and in the days of her health and strength, took much interest in the church. She had been in impaired health for the last four years.

Mrs. ALLEN, is survived be one daughter, Mrs. Malissa MORGAN, Mt. Vernon, and three sons, Arnett ALLEN of Maplewood, Mo., Frank ALLEN, Columbia, Ill., and John ALLEN, Kansas City, Molk and 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
