ALLEN, SARAH (SALLIE) F.

Sarah F. Allen, 76, a resident of Hopewell neighborhood since 1883, died at 4:20 pm yesterday at her home on RFD 5.

She was born April 27, 1869 in England, Ohio, the daughter of John and Nancy (Cotton) Wilson.

Mrs. Allen was first married to John Wilson who died in 1921 and later to Abe Allen, who died in 1936.

She is survived by one foster daughter, Mrs. Hattie Hayes of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Hopewell Church and burial will take place in Hopewell Cemetery.

The body will remain at the Osborn Funeral home in Dix until time for the funeral.
