W.E.ANDERSON, 56, of Shiloh Township, Dies Walter Earl ANDERSON, a carpenter and substitute rural route mail carrier, died at 12:15 a.m. today *(03 Nov 1942), at his home in Shiloh township. His age was 56 years, seven months and 15 days. Funeral services conducted by the Rev. A. B. CLODFELDER and the Rev. Orlando BRAKEMEYER, will be held Thursday *(5th) at 2 pm. at the West-Salem church and burial will follow in the nearby cemetery. *(West-Salem Cemt., Jefferson Co., Shilo Twp., IL.) The body will remain at Myers Chapel until 2 pm. Wednesday (4th.), then will be taken to the home, where it will lie in state until the funeral hour. Mr. ANDERSON was born 18 Mar 1886 in Bement, *(Macon Co.,)IL., the son of Martin L*(eslie) and Lucinda (ROGERS) ANDERSON. On 11 May 1912 he was united in marriage with Gertrude WARREN, who survives. Surviving besides his widow, are two daughters, Mrs. Agnes SADOWSKI of Decatur and Miss Louise ANDERSON at home, two brothers, Albert of Decatur and Leslie of West-Salem, IL., one sister, Mrs. Nellie *(m1 EMERT), *(m2) SNOKE of Okley, IL. *(should be Oakley, IL.) and two grandchildren. *(his wife Gertrude WARREN, ANDERSON b. 1888 d. 1955 and is burried in West-Salem Cemt. along with him.)
