Coy Walter Andrews, 75, of 317 S. 13th St., a salesman and distributor for Ranmar Standard Tire for several years, died at 13:35 a.m. today at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mr. Andrews was born in Dade County, Mo., on Feb. 17, 1902, the son of Robert and Martha E. (Underwood) Andrews.

On Feb. 1, 1945 he was married in Gillispie to Mary Ester Jackson, who survives.

Mr. Andrews was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Hughey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

In addition to his wife, Mary Esther Andrews, Mr. Andrews is survived by one son, Bob Andrews, Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Esther) Lindblad, Chicago, and Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Griggs, Quincy; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a brother, the Rev. Paul Andrews, Springfield, Mo.

Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by one sister and his parents.
