Harley Atchison
HARLEY ATCHINSON DEAD Word was received here this morning by Mrs. Guy Staley that her nephew, Harly Atchinson, of Missouri, was dead. He died yesterday morning at his home, but will be brought here tomorrow where the funeral will be held. Mr. Atchinson was thiry years old, the son of Mrs. John Atchinson, of this city, and he leaves a wife and two children. He had always made his home in this city until about two years ago, when he moved to MO. The time and place for the funeral and burial will be announced later.

Note from Sandy Bauer on November 18, 2023: DEATH OF CHARLES H. ATKINSON Charles, the son of John and Lydia Atkinson, was born in Jefferson county, Illinois, September 27, 1881, died Jan. 19, 1912, aged 30 years, 3 months, 21 days. On the 29th day of May, 1905, he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Burnett. To this union two children were born, Dean and Ausby. They resided here until two years ago when they moved to Burley, Ark. and lived there until death called Mr. Atkinson. He leaves a wife and two children, aged six and four years, and a heartbroken mother. His father, John Atkinson, was killed 17 years ago last July by the explosion of an engine boiler, and an elder brother, Alva, died fifteen years ago last April. Mr. Atkinson was a member of the First Baptist church. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Chas. Bersche, of this city, at East Salem at 1:00 o'clock Thursday and interment will follow at the cemetery.
