“Uncle” Jimmie Bagwell, and old citizen, died at his home in the southern part of this city, Tuesday, at 1 o’clock p.m.

The funeral was preached by Rev. W.. P. Throgmorton, of Du Quoin at 10 o’clock this morning, followed by interment at Hopewell Cemetery.
