>Beulah Baker Of Englewood, Colo., Died At Age 87 Beulah Hicks Baker, 87, Englewood Colo., died 2 p.m. April 4, 1988, in Swedish Medical Center. She was a former resident of Bonnie. Mrs. Baker was born Oct. 23, 1900, in Jefferson County, the eldest child of Samuel J. and Mary Lorin (Beckham) Hicks. On May 22, 1919, in Benton, she married Emory E. Baker, who died in a coal mine accident March 6, 1943. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hughey Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Jerry W. Mitchell and the Rev. Geraldine Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in South Hickory Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Hughey Funeral Home. Mrs. Baker is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Barbara) Woelfel of Littleton, Colo., and Mrs. Charles (Mary Louise) Sturdevant of Sepulveda, Calif.; one son, Roy L. Baker of Apache Junction, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, David Woelfel of Aurora, Colo, Debra Woelfel Faigh of Van Nuys, Calif., Jerry W. Mitchell of Issaquah, Wash., Cynthia Mitchell Hegstrom of Littleton, Colo., Steven Baker, Samuel Baker, Scott Baker and Sheryl Baker, all of Redondo Beach, Calif.; seven great-grandchildren, Kristina, Neal, Wesley and Amy Mitchell of Issaquah, Wash., B. J. and Curtis Hegstrom of Littleton, Colo., and Matthew David Faigh of Van Nuys, Calif.; one brother, Fred Hicks of Mt. Vernon; one sister Helen (Hicks) Toney of Mt. Vernon; several nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and cousins. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Tech. Sgt. Everett Neil Baker and Sgt. Samuel Wayne Baker, both killed in France in 1944; her parents; two sisters, Bernadine Hicks and Nona Hicks; three brothers, Harry L. Hicks, Roy L. (Ben) Hicks, and Owen I. Hicks; one infant granddaughter, Vicki Lynn Baker.
