LILLIAN BARVA Dies at Age 62; Funeral Friday Miss Lillian Mary Barva died at her home, 1113 south 21st street, at 4:30 o'clock this morning. In failing health since last July, Miss Barva had observed her 62nd birthday last Saturday, January 2. She was born in Jefferson County January 2, 1892, the daughter of Louis B. and Julia [Rosselot] Barva, who preceeded her in death. She attended Jefferson county schools and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church here. The body will lie in state at the Pulley Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home Thursday evening at 7 o'clock. Funeral service will be held from St. Mary's Church Fridaymorning, with the Reverend James P. Burke conducting the funeral mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Surviving are a brother, Leo Barva of Mundelein, Ill. and five sisters, Miss Myrtle Barva; Mrs. Margaret Melton; Mrs. Ruth Urich; and Mrs. Aline Wicks, all of Mt.Vernon, and Mrs. Agnes Miner of Cambria, Iowa. Four brothers preceeded her in death.
