Randy R. Bean, 66, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 5:29 pm March 26, 2024 at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.

He was born January 28, 1958 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Stewart Alson and Betty (Jones) Bean.

Randy is survived by his sisters, Paula Hampton and husband, David of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Sue Davenport and husband, Marty of New Concord, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Ronnie Page of Mount Vernon, Illinois; several nieces and nephews, Matt Page and fiancée, Stephanie Culp, Justin Page and wife, Michelle, Chad Hampton and wife, Michelle, Jody Mack and husband, Jarad, Doug Hampton, Jenny Davenport, and Julie Davenport; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava Hampton, Jake Page, Hannah Hampton, Austin Mack, Kayden Mack, Emma Jo Mack, Skyler Hampton, and Dalton Hampton.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Page.

Randy attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with his Bachelors in Accounting. He worked as a CPA and lived in Saint Louis, Missouri, Los Angeles, California, Sikeston, Missouri, and the last several years back home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Randy loved music and had family and friends that he truly loved and enjoyed.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Mr. Steve Papenberg officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois.
