Irene Beckham
Irene Beckham, 61, Bonnie, died 10:35 p.m., Sept. 3, 1991, at her home. Mrs. Beckham was a seamstress and garment factory worker.She was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Jefferson County, a daughter of Orval and Annabel (Braden) Fairchild. June 1, 1950, in Mt. Vernon, she married Keith Beckham, who survives. Sevices will be 10 a.m. Friday at Fry & Brick Funeral Home at Fry & Frick Funeral Home in Waltonville with the Rev. Dan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Abner Cemetery at Nason. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Beckham is survived by one son, Brad Beckham of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Peggy) Kuhner of Mt. Vernon; four brothers, Alden, Tom, Bob and Ron Fairchild, all of Waltonville; six sisters, Mrs. Anna Marie Hicks, Mrs. Meda Beckham and Mrs. Shirley Gilbert, all of Waltonville, Mrs. Barb Dixon of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Nina Ratajczyk of Scheller and Mrs. Cheryl Wilderman of Bonnie, who reared in Irene’s home; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Beckham was a member of Waltonville Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
