Larry Beckham, Kentucky

Larry Beckham, 34, Paducah, Ky., died June 21, 1987, in a residential fire at his home.

Mr. Beckham was born Sept. 2, 1952, in Illinois, a son of Joe A. and Anna Belle (Ellis) Beckham.

He married Nita Tanner, who survives.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at the IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis with the Rev. A. W. Landis officiating. The American Legion and VFW will perform graveside rites.

Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of the arrangements.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his mother of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, LaRita Beckham of Paducah,Ky.; a son Larry Beckham of Paducah, Ky.; a sister, Shirley Walters of Dade City, Fla.; five brothers, Joedy Beckham of Mt. Vernon, Bill Beckham of Bonnie, Darrell Beckham of Belle Rive, Gerald Beckham of Selman City, Texas, and Lyle Dean Beckham of Mt. Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Beckham was a carpenter for Travis Construction Co. of Paducah, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a daughter, Kristy.
