Luther Beckham, RFD 2, Woodlawn, Dies At Age 64

Luther Morton Beckham, of RFD 2, Woodlawn, died at 3:15 o’clock this morning at Good Samaritan Hospital, at the age of 64 years, four months and ten days.

Mr. Beckham was a livestock dealer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel and burial will be in the I.O.O.F cemetery in Woodlawn.

The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Beckham was born April 20, 1891 near Waltonville, the son of James and Edwina (Peterson) Beckham.

He was married to Allie Bourland, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Ronnie, Jimmy and Terry, all at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Etta Fred of Sesser and Mrs. Alice Darnell of Mt. Vernon.
