Nora Beckham
Nora Beckham, 84, a former resident of Waltonville, died 4:30 p.m. May 2, 1996, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, John and Linda Moore of Cleveland. Mrs. Beckham was born Sept. 30, 1911, in Hamilton County, a daughter of John and Minerva (Lambert) Bethel. Jan 15, 1931, in Mt. Vernon, she married Lester Moore, who preceded her in death on July 13, 1950. She later married John Newman Beckham of Waltonville, who preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1984. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Bethel Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Dan Robinson, Rockford Church of Christ, officiating. Those attending the graveside services are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Monday morning. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hughey Funeral Home. Mrs. Beckham is survived by one daughter, Mildred Reynolds and husband James of Rockford; one son, John Moore and wife of Cleveland ; one sister, Eunice Swader of Mt. Vernon; a sister-in-law, Venita Reinhiemer of Mt. Vernon; a daughter-in-law, June (Moore) Young of Lakeland, Fla.; several stepchildren (Beckham); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. Mrs. Beckham was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one son, Charles Moore; one sister, Dora Stilwell; and two brothers, Joe and Frank Bethel.
