Ralph H. Beekman, of 602 Main street, died this morning at Barnes Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past month. He was 63 years, 3 months and 23 days of age.

For many Mr. Beekman operated the Beekman Transfer Co., in Mt. Vernon.

For the past 2 years he had been manager of a lumber mill at West Frankfort.

He was born August 0, 1891 in Woodlawn, the son of Samuel and Lilly (HAWKINS) Beekman.

He was married to Marjorie HARPOLE, who survives.

Besides his wife he is survived by 2 sons, Glenn of Paducah, Ky. and Charles, of St. Louis, Mo. and 1 daughter, Mrs. Herbert MASON of Mt. Vernon; 8 grandchildren; and a half brother, Frank DUBOIS of Mt. Vernon.

The body was taken to Myers Chapel.
