Lottie Lee (Johnson) Bennett
Mrs. Lottie Lee Bennett, 90, of Hickory Grove Manor, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Myers Chapel. The Rev. Everett Lemay will officiate. Burial will be in Laird Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. today. Mrs. Bennett was born June 5, 1881 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Thomas and Martha (Yates) Johnson. She was married to Joseph Bennett, who preceded her in death. She was a retired employee of the State Hospital at Jacksonville. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Methodist church of Belle Rive. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Claudia Glenn of Mt. Vernon and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Charles E. Johnson; and six sisters, Mally Scivner and Della, Alice, Effie, Ora and Julia Johnson.
