Harve Benthall Dies at Hospital; Funeral Sunday Harve C. Benthall, a resident of Waltonville, died at the Mt. Vernon Hospital at one o'clock this afternoon. He had been a patient there for the past three weeks. . Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Waltonville M.E. church. Burial will be made in the Dryden cemetery. The body will remain at the home untilthe funeral hour. . Mr. Benthall was born in Jefferson county on Jan. 15, 1865, and his age was 70 years and 11 months. He was a son of the late William H. and Sarah Wilson Benthall. He spent many years engaged in farming and was industrious and successful throughout his active life. He had been retired since 1918. He was united in marriage with Eva Smith in ? and she survives as well as one daughter, two brothers, and four sisters. The daughter is Mrs. Alice L. Black of Waltonville. The brothers are Dave Benthall of Du Quoin. The James Benthall of Scheller and sisters are Mrs. Julia Hill of Peoria, Mrs. Cora Sulcer, Rachel Robinson and Martha Davis, all of Waltonville.
