Arlin Henry Berger, 84, of Mt. Vernon died 1:50 p.m. Sept. 1, 2004, at Mt. Vernon Care Center in Mt. Vernon.

Mr. Berger was born Aug. 2, 1920.

He married Virginia N. Berger; she died May 17, 2002.

Private family funeral services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.

Mr. Berger is survived by daughters Cindy Villareal and husband Kevin of Mt. Vernon, Nancy Heck and husband Bob of Nason and Rosemary of Clanton, Okla.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother and a sister.
