Carol Bicanich Of Bonnie Died At Age 34

Carol Ann Bicanich, 34, Route 1 Bonnie, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was born April 8, 1950, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of William R. (Bill) and Emma M. (Gent) Holloway.

In Mt. Vernon, on Oct. 25, 1969, she married Benny J. Bicanich, who survives.

She is also survived by her father, William R. (Bill) Holloway of Waltonville; two daughters, Benay K. Bicanich and Tiffany D. Bicanich both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Fran) Beauman of Springfield and Mrs. Allen (Pam) Bevis of Ina; her father and mother-in-law, Tony and Helen Bicanich of Bonnie; one brother-in-law, Jack Bicanich of Bonnie; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Dixon of Mount Prospect and Becky Martin of Waltonville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Southwest Church of Christ where she was a member with the Rev. Mike Hoke officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hughey Funeral Home and from noon until the funeral hour at the church. The casket will not be opened at the church.

She was a part-time employee of the Clinton Electric Co. and was formerly employed at the Illinois Department of Education. She was very active in her church, including Dorcas Circle, the youth group, and the music department. She was also a room mother at the Waltonville Grade School.

Memorials may be made to the Southwest Church of Christ and will be accepted at the funeral home.
