Thomas Birdsong Dead

Thomas Birdsong, who was a resident of this community about 25 or 30 years ago, was buried at Mt. Vernon where he has been living for some time, on Tuesday, April 24.

At the time of his death, he was 74 years of age.

Those who survive him are a wife, four grown sons and a brother, J. J. Birdsong of this city, besides a number of other relatives.

Mr. Birdsong, when residing here was a well known and respected citizen and was employed in the Nursery operated by Dave Young at that time.

His many friends and acquaintances deeply regret to hear of his death.
