JOHN T. BLACKWELL, 44 OF EWING, IS DEAD

John T. BLACKWELL, 44 died of heart trouble at two O’clock this morning at his home in Ewing.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Rosier SPURLOCK will be conducted at 10:30 O’clock Friday at New Hope Church and burial will following nearby cemetery. The body will remain at the home in Ewing where friends may call anytime up to the funeral hour.

Mr. Blackwell, who was employed for many years in State Hospital, had been unable to work for the past five years because of poor health.

He was under the care of a Doctor for heart trouble.

He was a Veteran of World War One.

He was born in Jefferson County, Illinois a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe BLACKWELL, who preceded him in death.

Twenty-one years ago, he married Stella COCHRANE and she survives him.

Also surviving is a brother, Ed BLACKWELL of Oklahoma. One brother Will BLACKWELL died about one year ago.
