Mrs. Margaret BLANKENSHIP, 69, of Mt. Vernon died Thursday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. BLANKENSHIP was a former resident of Ina.

She was first married to R. R. JOHNSON and after his death she was married to John BLANKENSHIP, who died a year ago.

She is survived by 5 daughters, Mrs. Gladys McGINNIS of Manhattan, Mrs. Violet WEBB and Mrs. Nellie MOORE of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Juanita BROWNING of Clayton, Ill., and Mrs. Betty HAMILTON of Warrensburg, Ill.; 6 sons, Herbert and Franklin JOHNSON of Mt. Vernon, Roy JOHNSON of New Lenox, Baxter JOHNSON of Joliet, Ralph and Ivan JOHNSON of Chicago Heights. Also 3 step-daughters, a stepson, 3 sisters and 1 brother; 40 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Myers in Mt. Vernon at 3:30 p.m. Saturday with burial in Kirk Cemetery.
