Daniel Webster BLOOD, 75, of Spring Garden died Monday afternoon at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Mt. Vernon where he had been a patient for the past 4 months.

He was born June 10, 1890, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of William C. and Sarah (PAGE) BLOOD.

On April 25, 1913, he was married to Gracie C. SULLIVAN who survives.

Other survivors include 4 sons, Carl of Owosso, Mich., Earl of Steger, Paul of Ina, David of South Chicago Heights and 3 daughters, Ethel NIHELLS of Spring Garden, Neva BEVIS of Mattoon and Ruth Ella CONNER of Ina. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Spring Garden Community Church with Rev. Ezra BAILEY officiating under the direction of the Ina Funeral Home. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery at Benton.
