Elizabeth Bogan Dies At Age Of 93; Rites Saturday Mrs. Elizabeth Hulda Bogan, one of Jefferson County's oldest citizens, died at 1:30 this morning at her home, 426 south 24TH street. She was 93 years, seven months and 16 days of age. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church, of which she was a member. The Rev. Robert Freytag will officiate and burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Woodlawn. Friends may call at the family home after 10 a.m. Friday. At noon Saturday the body will be removed to the church to lie in state until the funeral hour. Mrs. Bogan was born November 9, 1865 in Hutchison, Minn. the daughter of Linfred H. and Honora (Yerkes) Hauss. On October 20, 1887 she was married in Woodlawn, to Joe L. Bogan. He died March 26, 1947. She is survived by one daughter Miss Naomi R. Bogan of Mt. Vernon, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One son preceded her in death.
