Kenneth D. “Butch” Boldrey
Kenneth D. “Butch” Boldrey, age 65, of Mt. Vernon died 5:14 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Kenneth was born November 17, 1942 in Hahn, Missouri a son of James E. and Viola V. (Morlan) Boldrey. He married Janice Sue (Carlton) on October 14, 1975 in Opdyke and she survives in Mt. Vernon. Butch served his country in the Illinois Army National Guard. He worked for S&M Manufacturing in Mt. Vernon for many years and later worked for the Enviro World Technologies in Centralia. He is survived by his wife, Jan Boldrey of Mt. Vernon, IL; two daughters, Kim and husband Chris Richardson of Mt. Vernon and Tina and husband Lyle Beckham of Opdyke; two sons, Jim Boldrey and wife Amber of Minn and Kenny Bressler of Mt. Vernon; brother, James H. Boldrey and wife Glenna of Mt. Vernon; and also survived by many grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Kevin Duane Boldrey, one sister Shelba Jean Schuman. Private Family Graveside funeral services will be held at Hopewell Cemetery in rural Mt. Vernon on Tuesday; Rev. Merle Fullerton will officiate.
