Jesse Bond, 81 of this city, died at noon today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Blankenship of Kell.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at Wells Chapel Church and burial will be in the nearby cemetery. The body will remain at the Osborn Funeral Home at Kell, where friends may call.

Mr. Bond was born October 18, 1865 in Jefferson county.

His wife, the former Laura Holloway, died four years ago.

Surviving are four sons, Irvin of Rock Falls, Il., Earl of Sandwich, Ill., Glenn of Kell and Guy; two daughters, Mrs. Belle Blankenship of Kell and Mrs. Ruth Shelton of Mt. Vernon; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
