Harriet E. CLINTON BOOK of 1025 S. 17th Street died at her home yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock.

She was the widow of William Lee BOOK and was 88 years, 9 months and 29 days of age at the time of death.

Funeral services will be held at the Free Will Baptist Church in Ina at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Thomas HARPER of Mt. Vernon. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call.

She was born March 10, 1862, in Spring Garden Township, the daughter of James B. and Rebecca (McADOO) CLINTON.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Joe PRESLEY, Mrs. Herman BYER and Miss Hallie BOOK of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Weaver WILLIAMS of Bonnie; three sons, Henry BOOK of Bonnie, C. L. BOOK of West Frankfort, and H. D. BOOK of Gary, Ind.; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was the last of a family of 16 children.

Mrs. BOOK was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Ina.
