Wilma Book Of Bonnie Died At Age 72

Wilma Book, 72, of Bonnie died at 10:35 a.m. Saturday in Good Samaritan Hospital.

Miss Book was a former employee of Lang Furniture and Grocery for 35 years. She was later employed at Davis South Side Drugs.

She was born in Illinois April 11, 1908, the daughter of Hollice E. and Myrtle (Bumpus) Book.

Miss Book was a member of the Bonnie United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Claude Tiland and the Rev. Ray Kelly officiating.

Burial will follow in Bethel Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina and until noon on Tuesday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the funeral hour.

Miss Book was a member of the Jefferson Chapter of Eastern Star of Opdyke.

Survivors include three brothers, W. A. Book of Mt. Vernon, Harry Book of Bonnie and John A. Book of Greenwich, Conn.; three sisters, Mrs. Eve Baltzell of Bonnie, Mrs. Pearl Kelly of Ina and Mrs. Jewell Burchell of Dixon and several nieces and nephews.
