Mrs. Eliza Ellen Borden died last night at 11:40 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Maud Patton, her daughter, 319 North Fifth street.

Mrs. Borden was born November 27, 1845, in Arkansas, and her age at time of death was 86 years, six months and 17 days.

She was united in marriage with Giles W. Borden in 1861. Mr. Borden preceded her in death in July 1893.

Funeral services will be held in Hopewell Church Thursday at 11:30 o'clock conducted by the Rev. Bird Green, and burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Borden is survived by two sons, Harris Borden, Mt. Vernon; and J. T. Borden, Vincennes, Ind.; and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Mullinax and Mrs. Maud Patton, both of Mt. Vernon; and one brother, Louis Cron, Mt. Vernon; and three sisters, Mrs. Adelia Roberts, Poplar Bluff, Mo., Mrs. Amazella Logan and Mrs. E. L. Baker, both of Mt. Vernon; and 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
