Margaret L. Boswell
Mrs. Margaret L. Boswell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Stanley, was born at Middleton, Wayne county, Ill., on June 27, 1870. When Maggie was only a year old here parents removed to Belle Rive, where she spent the remainder of her short life, having ceased from her labors April 2, 1898 at the age of 27 years, 9 months and 5 days. The deceased was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a loving, lovable daughter, quiet but always cheerful. When but a young girl, only 16 years of age, she was united in marriage to Richard F. Boswell on the 25th day of November, 1886. To this union were born five children, 3 girls and 2 boys, all of whom are living. The eldest Clyde L. aged 10; Georgia B. aged 8; Earl K. aged 6; Gwendolene aged 2; and an infant son 4 weeks old. The day of her death she was very happy, singing several times during the day. Only an hour before she died she sang "Fever Alone" and concluded by by saying at 10 minutes till 4 o'clock I will die and then will see Jesus and will walk with him in white. Precisely at the time stated she passed away.
