Wanda Louise Boyd, 94, of San Antonio, Texas, and formerly of Mt. Vernon died 10:50 a.m. Aug. 18, 2005, at Stonebrook Manor in San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Boyd was born Oct. 3, 1910, in White County to John N. and Lulu Jordan (Stanley) Putney.

She first married Neal Mayfield Aug. 2, 1929, in Albion; he preceded her in death in 1973.

She then married Audie Ray Boyd Oct. 3, 1976, in Massac County; he preceded her in death in 1994.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. today at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Mt. Vernon. Randy Sells will officiate. There will be no public visitation.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a son, John R. Mayfield; a daughter, Sharon Wangler; two sisters; and three brothers.

Mrs. Boyd was Methodist by faith.
