Mrs. Fanzo Boyle Dies Here Monday

Sophia Boyle, a lifetime resident of Jefferson county, died at 4:10 p.m. yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 67 years, nine months and 14 days. Her home was on the Brownsville road.

Mrs. Boyle was born November 6, 1877, in Jefferson county, the daughter of Ignatious and Myra (Cochran) Atchison.

She was united in marriage to Fanzo Boyle April 1, 1902; who with four daughters survive. The daughters are Mrs. Bertha Webber, Mrs. Leona Johnson, Mrs. Evalou Harvill of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Florence Beaty of Arcola.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Fryar of Whittington; Mrs. Emma Allen of Batesville, Ark.; five grandchildren, one of whom is in the service. Three children and 13 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at Hams Grove Wednesday, at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Riley Burton.

The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel.
