Laura L. BRADFORD died at the home of her son Jesse BRADFORD, north of Bluford, at 2 p.m. Saturday. She was 86 years, 9 months and 18 days of age.

Mrs. BRADFORD was born June 13, 1866, the daughter of Benjamin and Mariah (HANDLING) COLE.

She was married to Joseph BRADFORD 67 years ago and they had been married 63 years at the time of his death in 1948.

She was a member of the Bluford Missionary Baptist Church.

Her funeral will be held from the East Hickory Hill Baptist Church Tuesday, April 14, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bird GREEN of Mt. Vernon in charge. Burial will be at East Hickory Hill. Friends may call at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, where the body will remain until the funeral.

Surviving relatives include one son, Jesse, of Bluford; a daughter, Mrs. Leona KARCH of East St. Louis; four sisters, Mrs. Nora OLOMAN, Galesburg; Mrs. Ida FROST, Denver; Mrs. Della JONES, Opdyke; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two sons are dead.
