Charels Brim Dies at Age 70; Rites Saturday Charles H. Brim died at 1:00 am Thursday at his home on RFD 3, Mt. Vernon, at the age of 70 years, ten months and 25 days. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Pulley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marsh Harpole officiating and burial will be in West Salem cemetery. The body will remain at the Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour. Mr. Bim was a farmer. He was born in Mt. Vernon on May 17, 1880, the son of William and Nancy (Bullock) Brim. On September 11, 1911 he was married, in East St. Louis to Ann Jiohnson, who survives. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Pauline Sartin of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Clark Brim of Marion; and one grandchild. Mr. Brim had been in failing health for the past six months.
