Rosena Bromeier Of Nason Died At Age 84

Rosena Bromeier, 84, Nason, and late of the Casey Manor Nursing Home, died at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday in Mt. Vernon Hospital.

Mrs. Bromeier was born in Randolph County on Oct. 12, 1899, the daughter of George and Wilhelmina Louise (Voight) Otten.

She was married to William Bromeier, who preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Abner Cemetery in Nason with the Rev. Donald Kirst officiating. Those attending the graveside service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

There will be no public visitation. The Hughey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Her survivors include one sister, Effie Rickenburg of Steeleville, and several nieces and nephews who live in the Mt. Vernon area.

Mrs. Bromeier was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and six sisters.
