Opal (Claybourn) Brown

Mrs. Opal L. BROWN, wife of Herbert E. Brown, died at Mt. Vernon Hospital at 11:30 a.m.today at the Mt. Vernon Hospital at the age of 45 years, 1 month and 28 days.

Funeral services, conducted by Dr. W. K. SISK, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Park Avenue Baptist church. Burial will follow in Oakwood cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel. Mrs. Brown resided at Fourteenth and George streets.

She was born May 27, 1896, in Kinmundy, the daughter of William CLAYBOURN and Mary WILLIAMS Claybourn.

In 1913 she was united in marriage with Herbert E. Brown.

She was a member of the Park Avenue Baptist church.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Brown is survived by 2 sons, James C. and Bobby Alan; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold L. WILLIAMS of Oak Park, Ill. and Betty Helen at home; 3 brothers, Noel of Benton, Vance of Fort Scott, Texas and Verner of Los Angeles, Cal. and 4 sisters, Mrs. Charles MARQUARD and Mrs. Beatrice RYAN of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Frank BUSSEY of Benton, New Mexico and Mrs. Lois MANN of Los Angeles, Cal.
