The obituaries that I have submitted are from a collection that was clipped by my Grandma and pasted into a scrapbook. Some are family and some were friends of my Grandma. Sources and dates were not available to me other than some that have hand written notes on the obit for those I have included the information available.

Gertie M. Staley is my 1st cousin 3 times removed. Gertie was born Apr 9, 1895 and died Nov 1, 1951. Her father's full name is Thaddeus Steven Staley (he died July 31, 1952) and he is the son of William Staley (1821-1894) and Martha Elizabeth "Patsy" Underwood (1824-1917). I have photos of Gertie, her husband, her father and his parents if anyone is interested, contact me. I have also added these photos to Findagrave memorials.

A funny note. Gertie's husband was earlier dating my dad's mother and I have a photo of them together. My grandmother told me he was her boyfriend before she married my grandfather. Gertie's husband's name is Walter George Brown (1891-1974), son of John Henry Brown Sr. (1851-1929) and Melvina Clara McCoy (1855-1935). I also have photo of John Henry and Melvina.
