MOUNT VERNON -- Samantha Lorene Brown, 2 months, died at 11:46 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, in St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Ferris Orange officiating. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel.

Samantha was a part of United Covenant of Faith Church.

She was born Aug. 31, 2003, in Mount Vernon to Christopher and Kasandra (McCulley) Brown.

Survivors include her parents, Christopher and Kasandra Brown of Mount Vernon; one sister, Madison McDonald of Mount Vernon; her grandparents, Christopher and Lois McCulley of Owensville, Ind., Ron and Donna Brown of Mount Vernon and William and Cynthia Dukes of Alex City, Ala.; and her great-grandparents, Gail and Edna Boone of Mount Vernon, C.C. McCulley of Fairfield and Paul Bastistella of Alpha, Mich.

Hughey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
