Baxter Brownlee, 1125 S. 9th, Dies

Baster Brownlee died at 7:15 am today at his home, 1125 S. 9th. Mr. Brownlee, colored, was 59 years of age.

He was born in Caly county, Miss., January 12, 1891 and came to Mt. Vernon 18 months ago.

His wife, Lovie, deid last November. A brother, Dock Brownlee of Mt. Vernon, is his only survivor.

Funeral arrangement are incomplete. The body will lie in state at the Campbell and Parker Funeral Home after Noon Sunday. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
