Albert Edward Buescher, 72, of RFD 7, Mt. Vernon, died at noon Thursday in Jefferson Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday at Hopewell Methodist church with the Rev. Olin Weatherford and the Rev. Eugene Estes officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix where friend may call after 2:00 pm Saturday.

Mr. Buescher was born Jan. 19, 1891, in Chester, the son of Henry and Caroline (Klamp) Buescher.

On Dec. 17, 1916, he was married to Florence Baldwin, who preceded him in death on Mar. 30, 1953.

On June 6, 1954, he was married to Eva Tate, who preceded him in death on Jan. 18, 1956.

He is survived by one son, Richard Albert Buescher of RFD 6, Mt. Vernon; a grandson, Michael Buescher; and two sisters, Mrs. Leonard Yandell of this city, and Mrs. E. B. Ratliff, of Springfield, Ill.

Mr. Buescher was a member of the Zion M. E. church.
